About

Seven analysts. One obsession: the data that drives rankings.

SEO DataBank was founded in Marseille in 2021 by a search data scientist and a former performance marketing director who shared a frustration: most SEO agencies treat search optimisation as an art when it is fundamentally a data science.

Rankings are not arbitrary. They are the output of a knowable algorithm processing knowable inputs — content relevance, technical health, link authority, user engagement signals. When you measure and optimise those inputs systematically, rankings become predictable. Not guaranteed — Google is a black box with volatility — but directionally predictable within quantifiable confidence intervals.

That data-first philosophy is why we built SEO DataBank. Our team of seven operates from Marseille's Vieux-Port district: two technical SEO analysts, one content strategist, one link acquisition specialist, one data engineer (who builds our tracking and reporting infrastructure), one conversion analyst, and one client strategist.

We serve businesses across France and francophone Europe, in English and French. Our client base spans e-commerce, SaaS, professional services, healthcare, and multi-location businesses.

1,847 keywords ranked to position 1. 287% average client traffic growth. €9.6M in revenue directly attributed through our tracking systems. 96% client retention. We do not sell SEO services — we sell measurable organic growth, backed by data you can verify yourself in Google Search Console.

DataBank team

Data before decisions.

Every recommendation is backed by crawl data, SERP analysis, or competitive intelligence. We do not optimise based on intuition. The data shows the path — we execute it systematically.

Revenue, not vanity metrics.

We track keyword positions because they predict traffic. We track traffic because it predicts conversions. We track conversions because they produce revenue. The chain is unbroken in every report.

Transparent dashboards.

Every client gets a real-time dashboard showing positions, traffic, conversions, and revenue. No monthly PDF surprises. You see the same data we see, updated daily, with full historical context.
